The line graph compares the total amount of books read by both genders in a Public Library at Burnaby in a four-year span from 2011 to 2014. It can be clearly seen that female reader fell slightly compare to a male reader at the last year of the report.
Looking at the details, women read around 5,000 books read in 2011, a total of 2,000 books higher than men. This gap between the readers continues to increase significantly in the next year with 4,000 books higher than a male reader. After 2012, the books being read by women to continue to increase but a sudden spike in the number of books being by man. Both genders reached 10,000 books read. However, a change of trend happened in the last year were, male readers sore up to 14000 books in that year while women dropped 7000 books.
To summarize, the number of books read by both men and women differs in all years except in 2013 where they reached the same level.
